Full description of the activity
The excursion begins with a morning pick-up from the hotel on the day chosen at the time of booking. After collecting all the participants, the bus will head for the Teide National Park, where you can admire the pine forests, lava formations and volcanic craters typical of Tenerife.
From the Teide National Park, you will descend to the village of El Tanque for a lunch break and continue on to Icod de los Vinos, home to a unique specimen of dragon tree that is over 1,000 years old. After waving goodbye to the ancient dragon tree, you will descend to the coastal town of Garachico, once the island’s most important port. Garachico lies on a recent lava flow that has formed spectacular natural pools with crystal-clear waters.
The tour continues with a stop at Masca, a small village nestled between steep volcanic peaks and ravines overlooking the imposing cliffs of Los Gigantes, at the north-western tip of the island. Masca offers cultural value, unique photographic opportunities and rich biodiversity. A truly remarkable excursion for all lovers of rural life.
